Welcome to the 4th Annual Molly Penny Clowning Around Tournament

The Kemptville Women’s Recreational Volleyball League is a non profit organization and currently in its 12th year. We have up to 96 women play in our league any given year.

This year our league will be holding the 4th Annual Clowning Around Tournament on February 7th. Every penny raised at this tournament will go to Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

The reason for the name “Clowning Around Tournament” is all money will go to CHEO but more specifically the Therapeutic Clown Program. Molly Penny is the Therapeutic Clown at CHEO and the recipient of our fundraiser. Most of the funds to maintain the Clown Program come directly from the CHEO Foundation. The Therapeutic Clown Program at CHEO is an essential part of a child’s healing process.

Our goal is to raise even more money for CHEO. To make this a more attractive tournament for the ladies in our community we are going to provide tournament tee-shirts for every player registered. We are asking for sponsors from the community for $75.00 per business. With this sponsorship your company’s logo will appear on the back of the tournament tee-shirts. There will be a minimum of 75 participates in this Tournament therefore will be 75 people wearing tee-shirts with your company logo. What an easy and cost effective way to advertise, and will show your continued support for community events.

There will be a prize table at the tournament. If you have any prizes or are interested in making a donation it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Kim @ 258-5263.
