Welcome to Precision Hockey August 4 to August 7, 2009, Kemptville Ontario
One of the most powerful aspects of Hockey Excellence is the mental game. Hockey intelligence is taught through a variety of drill sequences found in game situations. Repeating these drills in a controlled environment enables players to build confidence, execute natural reactions, and play with a level of extreme consistency which is desired by today’s top coaches.
The drills are not just drills to fill time. They are designed as a road map with a beginning, middle and an end. The drills teach bits and pieces that reinforce skills. Then progressions are made on the initial drills and they are reinforced again. The main theme is to keep the students interested on the ice by changing the drills and to follow a progression so that they can be challenged towards improvement.
